Termination Bands are the most popularly used systems for clamping the braid shields onto the connector backshells. These bands are available in various styles and forms.
Constant Force Spring Bands are a faster but secure means of attaching the braids onto the backshells. The spring bands are reusable and can be easily installed without help of any special tooling.
Dummy Stowage Receptacles are used for protecting the plug connectors from moisture and physical damage when disconnected for extended periods of time. TICS can offer these receptacles for most mil-spec connectors.
