Non-environmental backshells offered by TICS are intended for use only in climate-controlled environments or where environmental sealing is not required against exposure to dust / dirt / moisture / fluids / salts.
The cable-connector interface is not suitable for harsh environment exposure. The backshells can be featured with straight/ angled (90°/ 45°) cable routing, with strain relief for bare cables and/or EMI/RFI shielding capabilities/ provisions to attach a cable integrated/ external braid.
